Zenni Optical – Eyeglass Frames, Low Cost (Pay Per Post article)

Zenni Optical: Sell Rx Glasses $8 with case!

I put on my first pair of glasses when I was twelve or thirteen, or maybe younger.  By sixteen, I had contacts.  About three years ago, I bought another pair of glasses just as a backup pair and for lazy evenings when my eyes were just tired.  Any kind of optical accessory is just expensive, even with my insurance.

My daughter inherited my eyes.  She got glasses when she was six, poor kid.  Fortunately, she’s alot cuter than me so they look good on her.  She’s been through two pairs already.  Even for kids, eyeglasses are costly.

Zenni Optical seems to be a way to alleviate some of that cost.  They offer low cost frames, starting at $8.  That’s outstanding.  I looked around at some other sites and found mostly good reviews.  Even the negative comments I read described situations that could occur even at a retail store.

For backup pairs of glasses for the kids (who can be rough on their frames) or second pairs (for us contact lens types), Zenni Optical is a good choice.  There are a variety of frames to choose from, lots of colors and you can even request your lens’ be tinted; also available is an anti-reflection coating for the lens and clip-on sunshades (if you’re cool enough to wear them).

Zenni manufactures their own frames which is why they are able to sell them at such low prices.  The frames come in various materials.  The lens’ are polycarbonate composites, not glass.  Again, good for kids.   Bifocals are available, too.

When ordering your glasses you will obviously need your prescription.  Include your pupillary distance.  You may need to request this measurement be included in the prescription your optometrist gives you.

Remember that the frames start at $8.  Just like a car, your final price will be determined by the extras you add.  But, even with the bells and whistles the price is great.
