I hate having lapses! Lo and behold, though, a lapse in the Journal has occcured. It’s hard to get back into the rhythm of work after an extended weekend. I easily get used to lounging about, pursuing my own pursuits. Well, back to it, eh?

- Drove to work
- Started brewing a pot of coffee
- Put on Brian Woodruff’s The Tarrier
- Began the Query Running Spreadsheet Updating process
- Did the Morning Walkabout
- Discussed a nitrogen tank problem with plant engineer
- Finished the Spreadsheet Update Process
- Emailed the info to plant manager
- Got harassed about being out of zip lock bags for final inspection (but we’re not out, of course)
- Updated my raw material forecasting sheet
- Posted the appropriate production charts
- Conferred with an associate on Metallica
- Updated my “To-Do” list
- Printed the “To-Do” list
- Compiled shopping list for trip to town
- Researched 230v swamp cooler pumps
- Went to Home Depot and bought stuff
- Signed for Fed Ex delivery
- Delivered the stuff I bought
- Took extra-strength ibuprofen for my extra-strength headache
- Called our janitorial supplier and verified delivery of an order
- Responded to an email about a shipment of raw material
- Updated “To-Do” list
- Created PO for electrical contractor
- Sorted through shipping acknowledgments and other paperwork
- Went to lunch
- Helped Receiving Dept sort through POs and deliveries
- Consulted with engineer on proper pump to use for coolers
- Printed diagrams of equipment from manufacturer
- Attended scheduling meeting
- Printed documentation regarding a shipment of raw materials that arrived
- Retrieved model and serial # from AC unit
- Wrote schedules
- Requested the missing certifications on raw material shipment
- Scheduled an AC company to dispose of an old AC unit
- Ordered cooler pump
